Xi: Knee; west.
Xia: To scare; to frighten.
Xia Chao Dai: Xia dynasty, which ruled China from the
twenty-first to sixteenth century B.C.
Xian: Immortal, deity; to betray.
Xiang: Elephant; incense, used during ceremonies and
for pay respects to ancestors, spirits, and gods.
Xiang pi: [Medicine] Elephant skin as used in Chinese
herbal medicine.
Xian jing: Trap.
Xian ren zhi lu: A movement in the Yang taijiquan form.
Xiao guai xing: A movement in the Taiji Sword form.
Xingyiquan: A northern Chinese style created by Yue
Fei during the Song dynasty. This internal style contains short simple
forms and is based on the five elements of Chinese cosmology.
