Dominating Lever - Cross Hand Wrist Grab

Dominating Lever is a Reactionary Defensive Method against a right hand grab to your right wrist. This second scenario is a grappling/locking method to counter the attack. It is most typical to use this method when the opponent raises up while you are applying an arm bar and/or striking.

Opponent grabs your wrist with his right hand

As your opponent begins to grab your wrist, begin to twist your forearm clockwise as you rotate your palm facing you. This action will lift his arm up and twist his arm with his thumb facing downward.

The follow up can be done at any time. We will show the technique as the same as before until you complete the knee strike. However, The Elite-Fighters Method trains you how to recover from situations while they develop. The opponent may raise up at any time.

Circle your right wrist clockwise and wrench his elbow with a left inward block. Counter grab the opponent's wrist with your right hand and strike his elbow with your left forearm or wrist bone.

Bend your opponent over while forming an arm bar. Pull your right hand toward your right hip while pressing downward on the opponent's elbow with your left forearm. This will bend the opponent over forming an arm bar.

Strike the opponent's temple with your left elbow. Strike the opponent's right temple with a left outward elbow strike.

Strike down ward into your opponent's spine with a left elbow.

Circle your left arm clockwise to wind up for an inward downward elbow strike to the opponent's upper spine

The left hand must continue to maintain a tight grip on his right wrist.

Force your opponet's face into a right upward knee strike. Force your opponent's head downward with a left palm strike while striking upward with a right knee strike.

Circle you left arn around the opponet's arm and form a figure-four hold. As the opponent begins to raise up, begin forming a figure-four lock by circling your left arm over the opponent's right arm and then grabbing your own right wrist

Twist the figure-four hold backward to throw your opponent down.

Twist your opponent's right arm backward as you complete the figure-four lock.

This lock may tear the opponent's right shoulder muscles and tendons. You may also get to slip a right inward elbow strike to the opponent's face.

Pivot counterclockwise while throwing your opponet down. Maintain your hold throughout.

Pivot counterclockwise, throwing the opponent onto his back while maintaining the figure-four lock.

Stretch the opponet't arm upward while stepping over his face with your left foot.

Step up to the opponent's rib cage with you right foot (you can add a kick to the ribs), and then step in front of the opponent's face with your left foot.

You must step very close to the opponent's face with your left foot, therefore, an axe kick with your left foot to his head is appropriate.

Step over the opponent with your right foot. Sit down forming an arm bar and a sitting ankle choke.

Finish by stepping over the opponent with your right foot and sitting back onto his head as you pull his arm up forming an arm bar and an ankle choke.

Use extreme caution when practicing this technique. It is easy to injure the elbow at this point and cut off the blood and air supply to the opponent's head.

Notice how the opponent is laying on his left arm, rendering it useless under his own weight and yours.

This technique is very easy to apply and it is very effective.
