Elite-Fighters Ranking Classifications©

The Elite-Fighting System of Martial Arts© is designed to train you in the various areas of the martial arts corresponding to the frequency of the nature of various attacks and the learning progression of the average student. The FBI 2002 Uniform Crime Report details the various attack methods reported in America for the year 2002.

Weapons Distribution Data concerning weapons usage are collected for the crimes of murder, robbery, and aggravated assault.

  • Personal weapons such as: hands, fists, feet, etc. - 31.1 percent of those crimes.
  • Firearms - 26.2 percent.
  • Knives or cutting instruments - 14.9 percent.
Other dangerous weapons, such clubs and blunt instruments - 27.8 percent.

This has changed over the past 10 years, mainly from reporting criteria. Ten years ago, personal weapons represented about 58% of the attacks, including punching, kicking choking, grabbing, etc. Blades were about 9% and Clubs about 22% and Firearms about 7%. Originally, the report listed the first attack method in the scenario. If an attacker started off by grabbing and striking, and then later pulled out a blade, the incident was reported as an attack by grabbing. Now, if a weapon is used at any time during the attack, it falls within that category.
